Finding function correspondence between two binaries is essential in reverse-engineering as software are constantly evolving over time. However, this task is notoriously difficult, despite the large number of research papers on this subject. In this work, we present a modular differ called QBinDiff and establish a comparison between state-of-the art differs on standard binaries and show that QBinDiff performs better than the existing differs, notably thanks to its modularity. We also emphazise that QBinDiff may be used to diff anything that can be expressed as a graph with a structure and a similarity over their nodes.
